Na Balam means the house of the Jaguar in the Maya language. Na is for house and Balam for Jaguar. The jaguar was a deity for the old Mexican cultures.

Mexican people have a strong cultural tradition for hospitality embodied in the saying "mi casa es su casa," my home is your home. So as a guest of Na Balam, the House of the Jaguar is your house.

The Na Balam Hotel is located on the most magnificent beach in the Mexican Caribbean with tropical gardens and hammocks under beautiful palm trees.

The joy of our sunsets cannot be stressed enough; one of our visitors said “you must be very spoiled looking at these every day;” another said “you have to be here to believe the beauty of this spectacle.” Tropical gardens surround all of our rooms and take us to the Maya world.

Our 28 rooms come with a king size or two queen beds, a private terrace or balcony, air conditioning and ceiling fans and in-room safety deposit boxes and 24 hours security protection.

Our three magnificent suites feature a king sized bed, Mayan-Modern decoration, air conditioning, ceiling fans, a private patio and a small pool with hydro-massage with a stunning view of the inlet; ideal for honeymooners or anyone wishing a romantic and/or peaceful stay in a beautiful place.

The Casa has two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with two beds, two bathrooms, living and dining room with a kitchen.

Yoga classes and therapeutic massages are available to relax the body and soul.

In order not to disturb the tranquility, communications technology and internet are available close to the lobby for those who want to continue to be connected to the outside world.
